Biome-BGCMuSo 6.1 is available [3 February 2021]

Dear Colleagues,

The newest Biome-BGCMuSo 6.1 [source code and Windows executable] is available at this link:

There is no major change in the model functioning. There was a small bug that Dori corrected. The modification does not affect the model structure, but you might want to use the latest version.

Biome-BGCMuSo 6.1beta30 is available

Dear Colleagues,

The Biome-BGCMuSo v6.1 beta30 [source code and Windows executable] is available from:
http://nimbus.elte.hu/~bzoli/public/OUTGOING/muso61beta30/

If you used previous version of Biome-BGCMuSo, please replace the executable with the new one. Some bugs were corrected, so this is the
latest and [hopefully] final release. RBBGCMuSo will use this version.

FIRST ALPHA release of Biome-BGCMuSo v5

Dear Colleagues,

I have just uploaded the first alpha release of Biome-BGCMuSo v5 [source code and Windows executable] to the website of the model:
http://nimbus.elte.hu/bbgc/download.html

If you used previous versions of Biome-BGCMuSo v5 [beta releases], please replace the executable with the new one!

The new model version will be implemented in the BBGCDB website and the BioVeL portal as well. Roland already implemented this version in the new and exciting RBBGCMuSo tool: https://github.com/hollorol/RBBGCMuso

Note that we are working hard to release the updated version of the RBBGCMuSo tool [credits to Roland HOLLOS!] which will be able to perform sensitivity analysis and optimization with MuSo5. Other useful R tools for Biome-BGCMuSo v5 are foreseen.

Third BETA release of Biome-BGCMuSo v5

Dear Colleagues,

I have just uploaded the third beta release of Biome-BGCMuSo v5 to the website of the model: http://nimbus.elte.hu/bbgc/download.html [bottom of the page]
The model is still in the test phase. If you downloaded the second beta version, please delete it, as it contained a bug that caused unstable run. We would appreciate any feedback regarding the stability and performance of the third beta release. Documentation for the 5.0 version is under preparation.

Dear Users ... we are working on some reconstruction and developments of BBGCDB (new menu items and functions), and on proper integration MuSo 4.1 with desktop grid system. Although new projects can be launched, but problems can occure ... please carefully use BBGCDB system and report back in any case of problems - Ferenc Horváth
