Dear Colleagues,
The newest Biome-BGCMuSo 6.2 [source code and Windows executable] is available at this link:
http://nimbus.elte.hu/bbgc/download.html
There is no major change in the model functioning, but bugs were corrected. The modification does not affect the model structure, but you might want to use the latest version.

Dear Colleagues,
The newest Biome-BGCMuSo [source code and Windows executable] is available at this link:
http://nimbus.elte.hu/~bzoli/public/OUTGOING/muso61beta33/
There is no major change in the model functioning. There was a small bug that Dori corrected (it was related to the cumulative N stress output variable). The modification does not affect the model structure, but you might want to use the latest version.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions.

Dear Colleagues,
The Biome-BGCMuSo v6 [source code and Windows executable] is available from:
http://nimbus.elte.hu/bbgc/download.html
The new model version will be implemented in the BBGCDB website. Roland already implemented this version in the new and exciting RBBGCMuSo tool: https://github.com/hollorol/RBBGCMuso
Note that we are working hard to release the updated version of the RBBGCMuSo tool [credits to Roland HOLLOS!] which will be able to perform sensitivity analysis and optimization with MuSo6. Other useful R tools for Biome-BGCMuSo v6 are foreseen.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions.
Cheers,
Zoltan BARCZA, Dora HIDY, Nandor FODOR, Roland HOLLOS
The main, updated features of the new BBGCDB Drupal Framework environment to host Biome-BGCMuSo version 5 are:
- Debian GNU/Linux 9.7 (stretch), Python 3.5.3, PHP 7.0
- R Software (R Foundation) release 3.3.3
- RBBGCMuso Package developed by Roland Hollós, version 0.6.3.0
The most important progress was to change the model engine from executable code of BBGCMuso to the RBBGCMuso Package running in R environment. The RBBGCMuso Package has extended features supported by the R environment, i.e. easy visualisation of the outputs ... The new framework can exploit these new capabilities.
Dóra Ittzés, Ferenc Horváth and Roland Hollós
A NEW BBGCDB Drupal Framework was launched to host Biome-BGCMuSo v5. It is based on the previous BBGCDB (http://ecos.okologia.mta.hu/bbgcdb), but must be diverged and developed separately due to the new features of MuSo v5
It is under construction ... please do not apply any changes

Dear Colleagues,
I have just uploaded the third beta release of Biome-BGCMuSo v5 to the website of the model: http://nimbus.elte.hu/bbgc/download.html [bottom of the page]
The model is still in the test phase. If you downloaded the second beta version, please delete it, as it contained a bug that caused unstable run. We would appreciate any feedback regarding the stability and performance of the third beta release. Documentation for the 5.0 version is under preparation.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions.
Thank you for the feedback that some of you provided.
Cheers,
Zoltan BARCZA, Dora HIDY and Nandor FODOR
