Conditional management strategies is a section of INI file.
This section is included to support implementation of different management strategies, but not in the usual way (which means that management action happens on a predefined day; the “usual” management activities are defined in a separate management file), but instead if a particular condition is met. In case of grasslands conditional mowing happens if the leaf area index of the grass reaches a threshold value (fixed value of the LAI before MOWING). The extent of the mowing is determined by the “fixed value of the LAI after MOWING” parameter. Conditional irrigation occurs if the soil moisture content of the simulated soil decreases below a threshold value. This critical value can be set by the critical soil water content ratio or the soil moisture stress parameter. The irrigated amount of water is determined by the soil water content ratio of the root zone after conditional irrigation parameter.
