Initialization file (INI set)

For detailed notes see User's Guide for Biome-BGC MuSo v6 [PDF] .

To create an input set you need previously uploaded input files and site data.
mandatory: meteorological, soil, epc input files, site data
optional: CO2, Ndep, management files, conditional management strategies

Below general fields, INI set form follows the sections of INI files. Some of the sections is missing or incomplete, these missing parameters are calculated or constants.

Please pay attention the number of years in input files and the number of simulation years. Starting from Biome-BGCMuSo 6.0 the model uses the year information of meteorological, CO2 and NDEP files for the simulation. It means that you can use a long meteorological/CO2/NDEP data file covering many years and the model will use the appropriate years if model run is initiated for a subset of years. The interval determined by the first simulation year and the number of simulation years must fit (equal or shorter) the year range of input files!

File fields: The files have to be uploaded before through Input file content type, in this form you can refer them in autocomplete text fields. Read about it in General information.

SIMULATION_CONTROL box is the correspondingly named section of INI file. Ignore it if default settings are acceptable for you. It is enough to set a new value for those fields which have to be changed, ignore the others. To display the default settings and editable fields click the box title.
